LA2050 Youth Ambassadors
The LA2050 Youth Ambassador Program empowers young Angelenos, ages 14 to 24, to drive positive change in the Los Angeles region through civic engagement and leadership development.
Participants develop a deep understanding of our local impact and philanthropic landscape, gain hands-on experience in community outreach, and engage in meaningful service opportunities. Most importantly, they play a key role in deciding which issues and organizations will receive funding through the annual LA2050 Grants Challenge.
Since its launch in 2022, the Youth Ambassador Program has activated over 700 young people from across Los Angeles County – including 330 currently participating in the 2025 cohort.

For the first time, this year's Youth Ambassador Program also includes a Leadership Council – a cohort of 28 exceptional participants, who take on additional responsibilities including peer mentorship and contributing to grant decisions through our Youth Grantmaking Committee.
