LA2050 conducts research and reporting to inform Angelenos about the progress that we’re collectively making toward the five goals – to make Los Angeles the best place to connect, create, learn, live, and play.
Our reports measure the LA2050 goals and metrics, highlight the trends revealed through the annual LA2050 Grants Challenge, evaluate the impact of the LA2050 grantees, and explore other areas of our work.
Who Can? You Can! 2024 Grants Challenge Report
The theme of the 2024 Grants Challenge – “Who Can? YOU Can!” – underscores the importance of collective action in creating a brighter future, and reminds us that we all have a role.The report dives into all of the ways that Angelenos stepped up: casting 105,000 votes to determine our funding priorities, volunteering 9,450 hours across 24 LA2050-sponsored volunteer activations, and submitting a record-breaking 872 proposals with ideas to address this year’s top-voted issue areas.
