    The Lysy Fellowship

The pursuit of high quality music education is prohibitively expensive. The SOL-LA Fellowship offers highly motivated middle and high school students from underserved communities the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive, tuition-free music education at SOL-LA Music Academy, a leader in community-based music instruction. This program nurtures artistic expression, levels the playing field, and equips students to become creative leaders who can inspire and impact change in their communities.

    Bravura: Musical Expression and Wellness

We have seen a growing number of young students struggle to connect with others, express themselves confidently, and navigate social environments. Many feel more at ease behind screens than in face-to-face settings. Bravura is a holistic education class designed to empower students as expressive, confident, and self-aware artists. Through a rich curriculum, students learn how to lose their fear on stage, communicate openly, and cultivate wellness practices that support lifelong artistry.

Expanding the Saint Anne's model to provide free music education

SOL-LA Music Academy has built a long-standing partnership with Saint Anne School, a Title 1 school in Santa Monica, to integrate music as a core subject. We offer all students TK-8th grade a tuition-free music program, including instruments, both in and after school. Our classes include music appreciation, instrumental classes, choir, and after school orchestra. The program has become an integral part of the curriculum and life at Saint Anne School. We seek to replicate and expand this model in schools that serve disadvantaged households.
