Family Literacy Labs
Family Literacy Labs is a quarterly, multilingual workshop series that empowers parents and caregivers to support literacy at home through hands-on activities, culturally relevant materials, and bilingual resources. Each session includes guided parent-child learning, take-home literacy kits, meals, and gift card incentives to reduce barriers to participation. This program fosters family engagement, celebrates language diversity, and strengthens early literacy outcomes in underserved communities.

Wise Readers to Leaders summer literacy
Wise Readers to Leaders bridges the literacy gap for low-income youth through culturally relevant programs. Our free summer program serves 300+ K-8 students, offering contemporary literacy curriculum, engaging activities, meals, and field trips. Led by college students and teen volunteers, our low teacher-to-student ratio ensures holistic student development with cultural competency and trauma-informed care.

Wise Readers to Leaders Literacy Programs
We close the achievement gap for underserved youth through summer and year-round literacy and enrichment programs. Our summer programming offers free state-of-the-art curricula and camp-style enrichment activities featuring small classes taught by college students. Our year-round programs support students academically and socially through tutoring, mentorship, classes and a college access program. Through the academic and social-emotional services, including counseling, we foster self-confidence and nurture positive attitudes towards learning.
