The goal of this grant is to support the growth of the Science Circus Whittier Project through intentional training and support of parents, teachers/staff & high school volunteers who will then teach pre-K-12 students about science in everyday settings. Too often STEAM subjects are seen as outside of daily lives. In reality scientists are inspired to make discoveries by the world around them-and then innovation happens. Our goal is to inspire families to “see and experience the science” in everyday moments, big and small, wherever they may be.
