To empower school age children to safely and responsibly walk, bike, skate and scoot to and from school and beyond more often. Through education and encouragement we aim to improve the health of students while fighting global warming through a reduction of congestion and pollution at school sites.

    Altadena Youth Mobility & Sustainability Ambassadors Program

    The Altadena Youth Mobility & Sustainability Ambassadors (AYMSA) is a youth-led leadership cohort to train students at Aveson Global Leadership Academy in Altadena as mobility and sustainability champions. AYMSA will ensure that Altadena’s youth are organized and have a space to process and take action on their mobility and sustainability priorities as Altadena rebuilds from the 2025 catastrophic wildfire. AYMSA will teach students about sustainability through mobility and empower youth to lead a resilient and sustainable recovery.

    Lincoln Heights Teen Mobility Center

    The Lincoln Heights Teen Mobility Center is a teen-based bicycle co-op focused on providing training and activities to teens and free transportation options to low income residents by acquiring used bikes for repair and redistribution through an Adopt-a-Bike program. Middle and High school students will learn how to resource bikes, repair and donate or sell the refurbished bikes and parts to the community. It will also provide an opportunity to improve community safety through bike safety education, group rides and a community resource center.
