CREATE ·2025 Grants ChallengeIncome Equality Reimagined: A Community Self-Reliant LA
Community Self-Reliant (CSR) LA will empower Angelenos throughout LA County to reduce income inequality by reducing their need for income and their dependency on the larger economy and its fluctuations to meet their needs. Through CSR LA, VOL will provide Angelenos with the skills they need to create projects that meet their material needs for things like food, shelter, electricity and their nonmaterial needs for things like community, education, and healthy identity in ways that make their communities less reliant on the larger economy.

Destination Market Street - Downtown Inglewood Cultural District Association
The association is being incubated through ZEAL’s Creative-led Community Development Initiative. We have decided that our focus will be on the development of downtown Inglewood as a California cultural district. Our vision is to facilitate the creation a dynamic, cohesive, and supportive arts and business community that fosters growth, collaboration, and prosperity for all its members with arts and culture as a cornerstone of thriving economic development of the corridor that promotes community wealth building in downtown Inglewood.
