The Writing School LA will provide free, one-on-one and small group literacy tutoring to underserved K–12 students throughout Los Angeles County, especially in the San Fernando Valley, focusing on reading comprehension, writing skills, and academic confidence to close achievement gaps.

Free Summer Literacy Camp
The Writing School Inc. will host a free, four-week summer literacy camp for students aged 8 to 18 in the San Fernando Valley. The camp will combine reading, writing, and creative arts to strengthen literacy skills, build confidence, and prevent summer learning loss. Through engaging, culturally responsive activities, the program aims to foster a love of learning while addressing educational gaps faced by underserved youth.
