Rocket’s program provides critical foundational safety knowledge to our most vulnerable children (4-8 years) so they can avoid serious injuries on a daily basis wherever they may be: to and from school, at home, in the community. The program teaches children to use their 6 senses to make safe decisions through an engaging Activity book depicting common everyday scenarios, animated Rocket videos, and a series of standards based lessons. The Grant funds enable Rocket’s program to reach 120,000 to 250,000 or more L.A. County students.
