The Compton Initiative (TCI) is committed to the long-term restoration of the city of Compton through consistent, volunteer-driven service. One of its most empowering programs, Bright Lights of Compton (BLOC), equips local residents, block clubs, schools, churches, and organizations to lead their own neighborhood improvement projects. By identifying needs, recruiting volunteers, and submitting a simple form, leaders receive paint, materials, and support from TCI. Grant funds will be used to make Compton a safer, cleaner, and more vibrant place.
