Tabahani Book Circle’s (TBC) mission is to eradicate early educational disparities in underserved communities through reading.
TBC provides an “Assault on Illiteracy” /Bringing the Book to Life program which tackles the issue of book deserts, which are prevalent in underprivileged communities and hinder academic progress.

    Assault On Illiteracy -Bringing the Book to Life

    This grant will assist in our Assault on Illiteracy Program, an engagement in youth education and development.
    Assault on Illiteracy – “Bring the Book to Life” is an interactive literacy initiative led by the Tabahani Book Circle aimed at increasing reading engagement among 3rd–6th grade students .
    Through a series of hands-on workshops, students will read aloud, explore themes from the books, and participate in creative activities such as crafts and role play.Each student will receive their own copy of the book .
