LEARN ·2025 Grants ChallengeDance Education for Underserved Youth
San Pedro City Ballet is seeking to expand dance education opportunities in Los Angeles public schools. Starting with Van Deene Elementary School, an Art, Media, Music Entertainment magnet school, our Firebird Dance Program will bring dance education workshops directly to students at their school at every grade level, in addition to musical choreography instruction, dance team training, and professional development to help teachers blend literacy instruction with physical movement.
