Marathon Kids

This grant will directly support a recruitment and activation to implement the Marathon Kids program in targeted areas in Los Angeles; the program will be free of charge to enrolled schools. The program consists of curriculum and content to implement before, during, or after school running programs for youth ages 4-18, many of which complete over four marathons over the course of a year. With this funding, numerous Title 1 schools in the L.A. area will be set on a path towards long-term whole health, for a lifetime.
