HYC Dream Resource Centers Student Podcast
The HYC Dream Resource Centers Student Podcast will empower youth at five middle and high schools in LA County areas impacted by elevated hate and bias-related incidents to exercise their voice and leadership through a student-designed and student-led podcast. The project focuses on student identity and campus culture to deepen connection and acceptance. Students will be mentored by a professional journalist and podcaster and learn about the in-demand career of media production while reaching an audience of fellow students and the public.

Reducing Youth Mental Health Stigma
This project will assist Latinx, BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQ+ and other youth ages 13-18 at high risk for racial and gender-based hate, teachers, staff, and parents/caregivers to access safe space, mental health support, and mental health stigma reduction training at six Dream Resource Centers located at schools in communities with elevated hate crime levels: Norwalk High, Artesia High, Fedde Middle, La Puente High, Inglewood High, and Morningside High. The mental health stigma reduction training will magnify impact and continuity on each campus.
