ENGAGE combats social isolation and loneliness among older people to improve their mental health and safety. Research shows that social isolation leads to depression and other debilitating health conditions and an increase in suicide. Research also indicates that isolation and loneliness make people more vulnerable to exploitation, including scams. The ENGAGE program is designed to improve seniors’ mental health and increase their safety by making meaningful connections with our most vulnerable.
