L.A. STEAM Odyssey is created by a STEM educator in South Los Angeles who knows first-hand about the needs of Los Angeles's underserved students. The nonprofit PreK-12 STEAM pathway school aims to help prepare learners to become college-ready, career-minded individuals by offering an engaging, culturally inclusive school right in the center of the urban city. It focuses on closing the socio-economic and gender gaps in STEM fields by offering free, high-quality education to students who might otherwise be excluded from such opportunities.
