Creation of the last major piece of the 3 year "GOALS For Valcrest" restoration and programmatic initiative - namely the conversion of long abandoned camp pool to an integrative mountain center for recreation, service in support of the surrounding forest & facilities, and educational sessions about forest animals, environmental issues, and the stars above. 1 service goal? Planting a "GOALS Grove" featuring thousands of native trees - by planted by children who visit the camp for other learning & play inspiration. 175 youth have already visited!
