- CREATE ·2020 Grants Challenge
Grid110 provides free accelerator programs (no cost/no equity taken) to early stage founders in Los Angeles, connecting them to a growing community of fellow entrepreneurs, expert mentorship, and critical resources. We’re expanding programs into South Los Angeles, which is primarily Black & Latinx. Given the mere fraction of funding/loans allocated to women and people of color particularly, it’s imperative that support be prioritized to historically marginalized communities in an effort to level the playing field for economic mobility.
- CREATE ·2018 Grants Challenge
Grid110 aims to educate 100,000 entrepreneurs in Los Angeles through free digital curriculum. We plan to adapt our in-person Idea to Prototype curriculum so that it can be delivered widely online.
- CREATE ·2015 Grants Challenge
This summer we opened our first Grid110 space in DTLA. We plan to open multiple spaces throughout downtown and around LA, that use an-accelerator type model to support the growth of startups, as well as provide programming and public events. Each space will focus on a different industry, creating sub-communities within the LA startup community and connecting the dots on an overall ecosystem.
