“Safe & Seen” is a community wellness initiative designed to support mental and emotional health for youth and families in Los Angeles. Through guided workshops, group discussions, and resource navigation, the program fosters emotional resilience, self-awareness, and healthy relationship-building. The goal is to create supportive, uplifting environments where individuals feel connected, confident, and safe to thrive.

Urban Roots: Reclaiming Outdoor Space will transform underutilized urban areas into vibrant, green community spaces that are accessible, welcoming, and actively used by residents. By planting trees, creating shaded gathering spots, and improving park infrastructure, the project aims to increase equitable access to nature and foster a stronger connection between people and their environment. This initiative will prioritize neighborhoods with limited green space and engage local youth in hands-on environmental stewardship.

This initiative empowers youth ages 24 and under who have experienced foster care or other systems involvement by providing comprehensive support in education, workforce development, and personal growth. Through mentorship, life skills training, and career pathway programs, we aim to reduce recidivism, promote healing, and build long-term stability. The program centers youth voices to co-create solutions that foster resilience and self-determination.

Empower LA Youth Through Employment will connect Opportunity Youth and NEET youth ages 16–26 with career pathways through skills training, mentorship, and paid work-based learning experiences. Our initiative focuses on building confidence, capability, and community by co-designing programs with youth to ensure relevance and long-term impact. The goal is to support economic mobility while fostering a generation of empowered young leaders ready to thrive in today’s workforce.

This initiative will create inclusive pathways to employment in Los Angeles’s tech and creative industries for underrepresented youth ages 18 to 29. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and job placement support, we’ll equip participants with the skills and networks needed to succeed in high-growth, high-impact careers. Our goal is to bridge the opportunity gap and diversify LA’s future workforce.
