PLAY Ā·2024 Grants ChallengeAPI Communities Parenting with Nonviolence
Community safety rests on a foundation of safe homes and families, but many barriers inhibit Asian and Pacific Islander (API) families from addressing and preventing violence within the home. This project aims to shift community norms toward widespread adoption of the philosophy and practices of āparenting with nonviolenceā in diverse API cultural communities across Los Angeles County, contributing to reduced prevalence of trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
