College Preparation, Access, and Completion Program
BBBSLA's College Preparation, Access, and Completion (CPAC) program extends our agency's research-validated one to one mentoring model to support students after their high school graduation and into college and/or postsecondary life. While many college and career success programs rely on mentorship as a component to success, our approach is unique: we leverage the power of a long-term mentoring relationship to support our youth in the next stage of their lives, especially as 85% of the youth we serve are first-generation college students.

Linked Learning: College Work & Life Ready Through BBBSLAs Workplace Mentoring Program
In a world that is becoming increasingly automated & online, one of the most radical & innovative things you can do is to return to the basics to unleash the potential in real human to human interaction. Most people can identify an adult from their childhood who served as their guide and "showed us the ropes" - a mentor. BBBSLA wants to connect our city's vulnerable youth to qualified mentors through our programs, which have been proven to measurably improve learning and academic outcomes.
