Back-office resources: Helping scale up new organizations
Collidescope Foundation provides operational back-office support to mission driven organizations. As the operators of Los Angeles Climate Week, we have already amplified nearly 350 events around LA County and supported hundreds of organizations. As many young and small nonprofit organizations struggle for resources, access to operational and strategy guidance is critical and often overlooked. With so many new organizations emerging -- especially around wildfire relief and youth education, there is a critical need to support these groups.

The Altadena Recovery Team- Wildfire Relief
Our founding members—four Black women raised in the Altadena and Pasadena areas—have deep ties to this community and firsthand experience with the challenges faced by its residents. What started as makeshift drives in front of a home, evolved into community healing events, advocacy for government support, and continuing to provide essential goods to the community. Through our initiatives, we aim to bridge the gap between emergency relief and long-term recovery, ensuring that those impacted receive the support they need to rebuild their lives.

Transforming Climate Anxiety into Climate Action
Many people are concerned about the climate crisis but feel isolated or don’t know where to start. With our Climate Action Social Club, we’re reimagining climate action as a joyful, social experience. Every other week, we host in-person, curated events that build friendships, help people find inspiration, and take local action alongside local leaders in ways that feel rewarding. Whether someone is brand-new or deeply involved, there's a place for them in the club.
