We have a unique mentoring model in which our experienced leaders mentor our new staff to ensure the best pedagogical actions. We operate from a constructivist perspective, which means we are student-focused and build upon student interests and personal strengths.

Help your community and get paid while doing it! Scholars Collective provides fun hands-on STEAM activities to LAUSD schools. We employ college students who want to work with children by leading STEM, Art, and Gaming clubs at local elementary schools. Multiple locations with job openings and flexible schedules to fit your busy lives! We provide all the lessons, materials, supplies, and paid training. Most staff work 8-12 hours per week at after-school programs. Pay is $22 hourly.
Roles & responsibilities
Mentor youth, follow lessons, execute activities during an after school program
Qualifications
Some college, willing to undergo a background check, interest in working with children, and ability to get to a school site on time at least two days per week
