Los Angeles. OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center seeks a full-time clinical professional to work in all aspects of Camp Erin and the Children’s Program, train & supervise volunteer group leaders, lead grief support groups, conduct outreach and educational presentations in the community.

Job Description & Specific Duties
Associate Clinical Coordinator of Camp:
Under the direction of the OUR HOUSE Clinical Director of Child & Adolescent Programs, responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
v Recruit, screen and train Camp Volunteers
v Perform outreach functions necessary to recruit campers for June and August sessions
v Maintain the intake schedule and all correspondence
v Screen and interview prospective campers and volunteers
v Coordinate grief activities schedule, cabin groupings and volunteer assignments for the camp weekend
v Attend staff meetings and clinical meetings
v Attend OUR HOUSE fundraisers and events (dinner, luncheon events, and Run for Hope Tennis for Camp Erin)
v Conduct grief activities, crises intervention and volunteer debriefs during camp weekend
v Maintain communication and relationship with Eluna Foundation
Associate Clinical Coordinator of Children’s Programs:
Under the direction of the Clinical Director of Children’s Programs this Coordinator will participate as needed in all functions related to the Children’s Programs for the WH Center
v Recruit, screen, and train potential volunteers at 3 day Volunteer training 3-4 times/year
v Conduct pre-group appointments and maintain intake schedule 2 hours/week and as needed
v Effectively conduct in-person intakes with prospective group member families if needed
v Place new group members into groups, monitor attendance
v Lead 1-2 supervision meetings for volunteer group leaders
v Co-lead a minimum of 1in-house and 1 school-based group per semester
v Interview, assess, and train teen alumni to be teen group leader assistants
v Conduct school intakes with new volunteer group leaders as needed
v Maintain supplies for all Child & Teen Programs in the WH office.
v Provide 1- to 4-hour educational, in-service and community presentations on Children’s Grief
v Collect and compile program statistics for board and grant reports
v Attend staff meetings, clinical meetings and 1:1 supervision
Maintain Donor Perfect records for West LA Children’s Program participants
v Attend OUR HOUSE fundraisers and events (Gala, Run for Hope, and Volunteer luncheon)
v Conduct 1-2 Parent nights per month
v Lead On-site Grief Response as needed
v Other duties as schedule permits to be determined by Clinical Director
v Support and adhere to OUR HOUSE's Cornerstone Statement, which delineates core workplace and organizational values and behaviors upheld by each staff membe
Qualifications
Qualifications: LCSW or MFT, experience working with children and families from under resourced communities, strong public speaking, organizational and writing skills required. Competitive salary and full benefits. Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred.
