About this job

As the primary support to the Senior Director of Strategic Integrations, this position will be nimble and open to supporting a wide variety of projects and initiatives in alignment with the direction and goals of the organization. This position requires a results-driven strategic thinker, an excellent project manager and problem solver, experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and possess exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate on projects and priorities across multiple, diverse lines of business, people, and partners.

Roles & responsibilities

● Support the Senior Director of Strategic Integrations in bolstering the organization’s capacity related to project management and administration, data gathering and analysis, benchmarking, cross-collaboration, and execution and implementation of key organizational projects and initiatives.

● Other Strategic Integration Initiatives that require cross-department collaboration, improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness, and support organizational growth.

● Assist with building and implementing decision-making frameworks to drive alignment with organizational priorities, while assessing the value of opportunity, return on investment, risk factors, and collaboration needs.

● Research, collect, synthesize, summarize, and prepare information and materials for meetings; assist in content development and creation of agendas and presentations; provide clear and concise information, documents, and records to assist with decision-making.

● Help leverage and maximize use of various technology tools and systems to collect, synthesize, and analyze data and to facilitate collaboration in various key stakeholder ideation, brainstorming and strategy sessions.

Qualifications

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

• A self-starter and quick learner who is highly motivated and outcome-oriented, always seeking innovative approaches to project execution.

• Ability to collaborate with a team, comfortable translating abstract brainstorming into concrete points of action.

• Ability to work on a fast-paced team, can deal with ambiguity but deliver results with excellence, and build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience with analyzing data, ability to identify high level key themes, trends, and patterns.

• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, the California Community College system and the Foundation’s mission.

• Proficient with a broad range of technology tools and has the willingness to learn and try different ways to foster increased collaboration across various stakeholders. Experience with Asana, Workday or Salesforce etc. is a plus.

• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.

• Passionate about providing students with stronger pathways to education and building a more just and equitable California overall.

• A self-starter and quick learner who is highly motivated and outcome-oriented, always seeking innovative approaches to project execution.

• A strategic and creative thinker who can problem-solve, working within and across teams to swiftly respond to needs identified across the California Community Colleges.

• Practices ownership, takes accountability, and has the ability to project manage, prioritize tasks, and deliver quality products on time with limited supervision.

• Ability to work on a fast-paced team and build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
