About this job
The Flintridge Center Manager of Behavioral Health leads and directs the Flintridge Center’s Behavioral Health programs to assure achievement of goals and desired impact. The Manager is responsible for the oversight of Flintridge Center’s interns; supporting the Leadership Team; and providing vision and leadership for dynamic Behavioral Health programs. The position reports to the Flintridge Center Executive Director.
Roles & responsibilities
Program Management and Oversight:
- Lead the Behavioral Health strategic planning process, in conjunction with the Leadership Team
- Set short- and long- term goals, and develop benchmarks and evaluation metrics in collaboration with the Director of Evaluation
- Maintain current knowledge of trends and research in behavioral health and trauma informed care
- Supervise Masters of Social Work (MSW) students and provide clinical supervision aligned with academic requirements
- Provide clinical oversight to Community Health Workers, Mentors, and Case Managers serving justice-involved youth and reentry populations
- Design and coordinate professional development initiatives to strengthen internal staff capacity and program outcomes
- Foster a supportive, high-performing team culture aligned with Flintridge Center’s mission
Direct Clinical Services:
- Maintain an active caseload, providing individual counseling and therapeutic services to up to 20 justice-involved youth and formerly incarcerated adults
- Supervise MSW students in the facilitation of group counseling and therapeutic services for adult constituents
- Ensure all therapeutic services meet ethical, legal and professional standards
Community and Programmatic Leadership:
- Serve as an advocate for the community and Flintridge Center’s constituents.
- Maintain and expand partnerships with local universities to host and supervise 2-4 MSW interns annually
- Engage with local, regional, and national networks and coalitions focused on behavioral health and social justices
Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- 2+ years of experience providing behavioral health programming and clinical supervision
- Experience working with justice-impacted youth and adults is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently and manage stressful situations
- Cultural competence and sensitivity
- Strong knowledge and awareness of community resources
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience
