We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to work closely with the Executive Director to support human resources and finance work. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, possess a keen eye for detail and organization, welcome the opportunity for creative challenge, and have a drive to empower the Dramatic Results community.

Roles & responsibilities

Human Resources:

- Administration and maintenance of employee files

- Compose HR memos, reports, and notices as necessary (individual and company-wide)

- Manage benefits administration, process and update employee benefits in timely manner

- Lead onboarding and orientation for new employees, offboarding of former employees

- Assist in recruitment and hiring process

- Oversee employee appreciation gifts and monthly staff bonding excursions


- Provide executive assistant support to Executive Director

- Responsible for coordinating office maintenance

- Book travel arrangements and register staff for conferences/training opportunities

- Compose contracts and memoranda of understanding for agency partnerships

- Schedule internal and external meetings, send reminders, and take minutes

- Observe, review, and analyze processes to identify areas for improvement

- Work with other departments as needed and perform other duties as assigned


- Update day-to-day financial documentation and liaise with financial support partners

- Complete day-to-day accounts payable entry into QuickBooks online

- Work with Executive Leadership and financial partner organizations on audits

- Complete bimonthly payroll for 10-30 employees, including 401(k) benefits administration and utilizing our timekeeping system, Replicon

- Maintaining an orderly filing system and entry of all transactions

- Responding to third-party and vendor requests as needed


- High School Diploma or equivalent required

- Knowledge or willingness to learn Human Resources; employee benefits, and employee recruitment

- Knowledge or willingness to learn of nonprofit contracts and MOU’s

- Familiarity or willingness to learn with payroll processing using Intuit

- 2+ years’ experience in nonprofit administration

- Strong willingness to learn financial-related tasks, which includes internal management of expenses, as well as QuickBooks online, with an emphasis on A/P and reporting

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent organizational skills

- Tech adroit and comfortable working with Microsoft suite

- Strong oral and written communication in English

- Multi-tasking with the capability of setting and meeting realistic deadlines

- Handles confidential data with diplomacy and discretion

- Ability to speak a language in addition to English preferred
