Currently serving 12,500+ students at 15 Los Angeles public schools, CISLA seeks a highly qualified Administrative Assistant to join our growing team during an exciting new phase of programmatic and organizational expansion as part of our strategic plan.

Roles & responsibilities

Operational Support:

  • Provide administrative support to Executive Director
  • Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Managing executives’ calendars and scheduling meetings
  • Assist with all materials and meeting preparation

Resource Development/Marketing Support:

  • Manage a comprehensive donor database (Network for Good) and files that include accurate and comprehensive donor contact information and meticulous records of donor giving
  • Manage gift acknowledgments to ensure that all CISLA donors are thanked timely and appropriately and receive a tax receipt for their gift
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint), database management, and proficient with email
  • 2+ years of administrative assistance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail and deadline oriented
  • Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, hardworking. Take initiative and own tasks from start to finish
  • Ability to organize, manage and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Superb interpersonal skills
