About this job
The Regional Director plans, manages, tracks, and oversees the program implementation of new and ongoing business and program operations within Chrysalis’ Inland Empire region. Responsible for the management of the Inland Empire region’s full-time staff and work crew operations, the Regional Director also serves as a liaison to the local community and develops and nurtures partnerships with local agencies for the purposes of outreach and client service.
Roles & responsibilities
Major Areas of Responsibility
Serve as regional leadership, overseeing both programmatic and enterprise operations
Serve as the “Face of Chrysalis” in the Chrysalis’ Inland Empire region, representing the organization in community events, meetings, conferences, and other events
Manage all regional full-time and transitional staff
Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Regional Leadership Management
Supervises and manages regional Chrysalis staff to deliver client services and achieve optimal customer satisfaction through safe and efficient operations with Caltrans
Serve as the face of Chrysalis for and deliver consistently high levels of customer service to all customers and other stakeholders ensuring that we meet or exceed all contractual obligation
Identifies and assists in the development of partnerships necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the program
Program and Business Operations
Implements course curricula and client services, participates in curricula development and planning and leads staff and volunteer training
Ensures staff utilization of data systems for case managing clients and tracking services
Creates and analyzes reports to track program and operational statistics
Support direct reports and other staff, both in the office and on the road, by spending a significant amount of time per week with staff on the road
Oversee and manage a fleet of vehicles and equipment
Ensure the safety of all workers and that work is performed in compliance with OSHA and Caltrans standards
Develop, codify, and enforce policies, procedures, and forms that are consistent with established standards
Manage vehicle, personnel, and equipment schedules across the region to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled
Provide crew coverage, as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years in program delivery and management, including both direct client service and staff and volunteer supervision, training, and mentoring
2-3 years in operations management and customer relationship management
Experience managing teams
Excellent interpersonal skills
Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills
Must have excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Computer literacy required. Must be proficient in Internet research, Word, Excel, and database programs and be willing to learn other applications
Demonstrated commitment to the needs of low-income people
Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
Ability to pass written and behind-the-wheel driver screening and follow detailed instructions, including navigating to specific geographic locations
A willingness and desire to mentor Chrysalis Enterprises' transitional employee population and support the transitional jobs program.
Bilingual English/Spanish, a plus
Previous experience with case management software, a plus.
