In close collaboration with the AVPs, CE and VP, CE the PM, CE is responsible for managing multiple work streams associated with the growth and development of the Chrysalis’ Employment Social Enterprises.
Roles & responsibilities
Summary of Essential Duties
Create detailed work plans that identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete assigned recurring & one-time projects
Coordinate and support the efforts of internal and external subject matter experts, consultants, and staff in the execution of work plans
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the projects will be evaluated
Determine the resources required to complete the projects
Set progress and productivity benchmarks; develop schedules for project completion that effectively allocate resources to activities
Develop forms and records to document and benchmark project activities
Develop good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels to build consensus
Design and complete management & administrative reports and documentation as needed
Develop and lead effective and engaging meetings, focus groups, trainings, and other learning opportunities to develop solutions that are the best fit for Chrysalis clients and organizational goals
Review the quality of work completed on a regular basis to ensure it meets project standards
Record and manage project issues and escalate when necessary
Establish a communication strategy and schedule to inform and update stakeholders including appropriate staff on the progress of the projects
Participate in departmental and other meetings as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
Two to four years minimum project management experience in a business or non-profit environment.
Proficient with various project management tools, including PM software to drive efficiency and productivity.
Ability to identify, articulate, and execute the appropriate and most efficient project management methodology for projects as assigned.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring a high level of attention to detail.
Interest in, experience working with, and sensitivity toward the Chrysalis client population, including the unhoused and re-entry populations.
Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, including using tact and diplomacy in all interactions and appropriately representing Chrysalis to external audiences.
High level of proficiency in software applications including, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Google programs required. Willingness to learn new computer applications.
Excellent written, and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize yet maintain flexibility.
Self-starter with a “can do” attitude and initiative.
Ability to interact with clients, colleagues, partners, and other others with diplomacy and tact.
Ability to solve challenging operational problems and make timely decisions, often under pressure with tight and competing deadlines.
Reliable transportation. Willingness to travel among locations as needed.
