About this organization

Why I'm running: I’m running because Los Angeles should be a place where families can build a future, not struggle just to stay. My wife and I raised our kids here, and like so many families across the city, we want them to be able to live, work, and thrive in the neighborhoods they call home. Today, too many Angelenos are being priced out, feeling less safe, and losing faith that City Hall can deliver. I believe we can do better — with a clear plan, practical solutions, and leadership that knows how to get things done.

A plan where Los Angeles THRIVES

Transparency

Open government that earns trust and delivers results.

Vibrancy

Revitalizing neighborhoods, small businesses, arts, and public spaces.

Homelessness

Keeping people housed and addressing homelessness with urgency and compassion.

Economic mobility

Creating pathways to good-paying jobs and upward mobility.

Rent

Protecting renters while increasing supply so prices stabilize.

Safety

Strengthening public safety—protecting our communities from crime and natural disasters.

Innovation

Using technology to make city services faster, fairer, and more effective.

About this job

Los Angeles is at a turning point. We’ve spent years talking about homelessness, public safety, and affordability, it’s time for someone who actually knows how to build things to take the lead. Adam Miller isn't a career politician. He’s a founder (Cornerstone OnDemand) and a problem-solver (Founding Better Angels) who believes that "business as usual" is a luxury LA can no longer afford. As a Campaign Catalyst, you are a ground-floor builder—helping transform a results-first vision into a citywide movement.

Roles & responsibilities

This isn't just stuffing envelopes. We need player-coaches who can scale as fast as the campaign does:

The Front Lines: Staff Adam in the places where campaigns are actually won — neighborhood canvases, Metro stops, farmers' markets, small business corridors, faith gatherings, town halls, candidate forums, and debates.

The Ground Game: Help lead and develop "Zones" to take our message directly to voters in council districts (CD1 - CD15).

Voter Outreach: Participate in and help lead general canvassing operations — cutting turf, staging volunteers, knocking doors, and logging data in PDI. Support weekday evening phone banking sessions, ensuring voter contact and accurate data entry in PDI

Being the ears: Help capture and elevate " the lived experiences of Angelenos, why they are frustuated, what they want fixed, and how Adam can deliver.

Qualifications

You’re a "Go Getter": You’re frustrated with the status quo and would rather spend your free time building a solution than complaining about the problem.

You’re Confident: You can talk to anyone, from a Westside CEO to a North Valley small business owner.

You’re Grit Oriented: You’re calm under pressure and curious enough to keep learning.

You Love LA: You want this city to be the world-class capital it’s meant to be.

You are you: You don’t need to look or sound like a politician. You don’t need to have experience. We want thoughtful, resilient, motivated individuals who care. Bring your personality. Bring your sense of humor. We’re building a campaign, not a robot army.

To apply

Don't send a traditional cover letter. Answer one of the two questions:

What is the #1 thing you think is "broken" in LA right now?

What is your strongest quality/attribute?

Why do you want to be apart of this campaign with Adam?
