Reporting to the Senior Director of Engagement, the Corporate Giving Officer champions APCH’s mission by building powerful partnerships with businesses that want to make a difference. This role is about sparking and deepening corporate support—securing sponsorships, in-kind gifts, employee giving, and innovative collaborations that help change lives through APCH programs. You’ll manage and inspire relationships both locally and with national partners, driving cause-marketing campaigns and customer giving initiatives that amplify our community impact.
This full-time, benefits-eligible hybrid position offers a dynamic mix of remote and in-office work, plus local travel to meet with partners and occasional evening or weekend events. Ideal candidates are persuasive relationship-builders with a passion for connecting the business community to meaningful, lasting change.
Roles & responsibilities
Corporate Fundraising and Revenue Generation
- Manage an assigned portfolio of approximately 100 corporate donors and prospects.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve annual revenue targets, monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as needed.
- Steward existing corporate partners while actively cultivating new prospects to meet organizational growth goals.
- Represents APCH at stewardship, fundraising, community, and external networking events to build connections, recruit prospects, and strengthen donor relationships.
Donor Research and Strategy Development
- Conduct research to assess alignment, giving capacity, and priorities of current and prospective corporate donors.
- Analyze corporate social responsibility trends to identify synergies with organizational mission and funding opportunities.
- Create customized fundraising and stewardship plans designed to sustain and increase donor engagement and annual contributions.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of APCH’s mission, programs, and data to deliver compelling, evidence-based storytelling that engages donors and partners.
Proposal Development and Solicitation
- Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and impact reports tailored for individual corporate supporters.
- Present clear, accurate budgets and outcomes to donor contacts in support of sponsorships and program funding.
- Make strategic and timely solicitations in collaboration with senior leadership and program staff.
Cultivation and Stewardship Engagement
- Collaborate with senior leadership, events, and program teams to design meaningful recognition opportunities for corporate partners, including volunteer engagement, co-branded campaigns, and stewardship events.
- Participate in agency-hosted fundraising and community events, representing the organization as a key ambassador.
- Facilitate the fulfillment and activation of national corporate partnership commitments at the local level, ensuring consistent donor experience.
Administration and Data Management
- Maintain accurate and current corporate donor records in partnership with the Gift Administration team.
- Track fundraising goals, donor activity, and engagement outcomes to evaluate effectiveness and document organizational impact.
- Provide timely donor reports capturing partnership value, program outcomes, and organizational growth.
Organizational Collaboration and Leadership
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with program, communications, and leadership teams to align donor investments with organizational priorities.
- Maintain fluency with agency programs, data, and impact to effectively represent the mission and funding needs to donors.
- Contribute to long-term development strategy and organizational initiatives as a member of the leadership team.
Other Duties
- Attend community events, networking opportunities, and donor-related activities as required (including occasional evening and weekend hours).
- Perform additional responsibilities to advance organizational fundraising and strategic priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; background in business, communications, nonprofit management, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or donor relations, with a proven record of meeting revenue goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior-level decision makers and diverse audiences.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities; able to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Professional, proactive, and mission-driven, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments, occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds, and flexible to attend evening or weekend events as needed.
- Valid driver’s license required; local travel may be necessary.

The Corporate Giving Officer role offers a competitive base salary of $90,000 - $100,000.
