What is your understanding of the issue that you are seeking to address?

Too many girls and women are being marginalized and isolated from the fair chance to be able to live their lives to the highest potential. Our purpose is to integrate top tier mental health counseling and life coaching alongside learning very practical life skills which our clients will take with them throughout their lives. Our intent is to bring women and girls together and end the denial of opportunity, internal conflict, and division via tennis and passing along knowledge and wisdom of life to tomorrow’s future, our women. The cycles of denying future generations due to poor mental and physical health, generational isolation, as well as a general lack of opportunity cannot be thoroughly discussed without significant action if the very environment our women and girls live in is denying them the opportunities they need. It is of the utmost importance that homelessness is mitigated and averted where possible through early intervention and constructive counseling and coaching.

Describe the project, program, or initiative this grant will support to address the issue.

T&T’s initiative, currently is the ability to mentor our clients is limited based on our time, creativity with limited resources, and based on our individual life experiences. We aim to incorporate a dedicated and licensed tutoring departing that will co-function alongside our provided mental health services and world-class tennis coaching. These all-encompassing skills, both practical and universally applied, will enable our clients to be adequately prepared to tackle all of the intelligence requirements of life. With access to qualified counselors and advisors, combined with our world-class tennis coaching and mental health services, will enable T&T to cultivate well-rounded and highly educated women that will go on to be tomorrow’s leaders.
Marginalized Women: Those facing social or financial barriers.
Seniors: To encourage active aging and social connections.
