MyTeachers123.com: A New Era in LA Child Care

MyTeachers123.com is a comprehensive digital platform revolutionizing family childcare and after-school program access in Los Angeles. By providing real-time availability, streamlined enrollment, and integrated payment systems, we eliminate the traditional barriers parents face when seeking quality childcare. Our platform also empowers low-income providers with free digital tools and connects vetted private educators to daycares, enhancing educational offerings for children across the county.

What is your understanding of the issue that you are seeking to address?

Los Angeles families face major childcare barriers:
Parents often make 50+ calls to find available daycare.
Language and tech access gaps prevent immigrant/refugee families from finding care.
Family daycare providers—mostly low-income women—lack tools for marketing or online enrollment.
Private educators struggle to connect with licensed daycares, limiting youth STEAM access.
Moms can’t return to work due to limited infant care.
Homeless and foster children need more stable, verified care options.
There’s no centralized, multilingual system with real-time availability, background-checked educators, and e-commerce tools for providers.

Describe the project, program, or initiative this grant will support to address the issue.

MyTeachers123.com is LA’s first multilingual, all-in-one childcare platform. It will:
Access to Tech and Creative Industry Employment: Individual educators create their own e-commerce profiles and get hired by daycares for STEAM classes like music, art, and sports—boosting creative job access.
Affordable Housing and Homelessness: We help match homeless and foster children with verified daycare and forester families through a centralized, trackable care placement system.
Community Safety: All private educators must pass fingerprint background checks. Daycare licenses are uploaded and verifiable by parents through our platform.
Immigrant and Refugee Support: Our platform supports multilingual sign-up and enrollment tools, making it easier for non-English-speaking families to access care and support.
Income Inequality: We empower low-income providers and educators with commission-based online storefronts, reducing marketing costs and increasing visibility to parents.
K–12 STEAM Education: We increase after-school access through educator matching and support CalWORKs and Options for Learning placements with real-time availability.
Support for Foster and Systems-Impacted Youth: We expand the number of daycare providers participating in foster care and help them enroll more children safely.
Youth Economic Advancement: We help parents return to stable careers by solving childcare barriers and increase educators’ chances to teach and earn in verified, safe spaces.

Describe how Los Angeles County will be different if your work is successful.

Within a year, MyTeachers123.com will have onboarded over 100 providers, facilitated 1,200+ child enrollments, and integrated 50 private educators into daycare programs. Single mothers will have new avenues for income, and homeless children will find stable care placements. Our platform will become the go-to resource for childcare in Los Angeles, setting a precedent for other regions to follow.
