We will focus on digital wellness, emotional resilience, and mental health equity by empowering individuals experiencing homelessness and unemployment with integrating mental health tools, peer coaching, and digital skills job readiness training to restore dignity, agency and opportunity to individuals by healing the mind and rebuilding hope.

What is your understanding of the issue that you are seeking to address?
Los Angeles County faces a persistent homelessness crisis with over 75,000 plus individuals experiencing homelessness as of the 2024 Point-in-Time count. Mynd Vibes is not just addressing homelessness—we are addressing the internal wounds that perpetuate it. By helping people reconnect to their identity, worth, and potential, we believe we can spark a cycle of permanent transformation in Los Angeles County. The LA Rebuild: Grant is the missing catalyst to scale our vision, proving that healing minds is just as critical as housing bodies.
Many are plagued by the following without an individual care plan.
Untreated trauma
Mental health barriers
Substance abuse
Digital and employment exclusion
Lack of trauma-informed services
Ineffective transitions out of foster care, incarceration, or temporary shelters

Despite massive investments, many solutions continue to fail to address the psychological and emotional barriers that prevent people from stabilizing and thriving in life through due to homelessness and lack of resources. Providing a self-worth curriculum and job readiness that deals with:
A culturally aligned, trauma-informed employment gap.
Focuses on mindset, confidence building, resume development, and time structure
Connecting with city internships, tech apprenticeships and workforce partners
We can address the mental and emotional foundations of the crisis and provide a pilot model we believe can be scaled across Los Angeles County while helping persons be accountable with participation they can heal, grow and ultimately thrive thus building a future where dignity, and hope replace cycles of crisis.

Accelerated Housing Readiness: Participants develop self-sufficiency and housing retention skills.
Community Leadership: Empowers formerly homeless individuals as program staff and mentors.
