Describe the project, program, or initiative this grant will support to address the issue.
ELWE fuses the 10P emotional literacy and In the Flow curriculums with “A Safe Place to Breathe” sexual wellness-based modules, delivered by trauma-informed, peer-led facilitators. Weekly hybrid workshops focus on self-awareness, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and sexual wellness. Youth Ambassadors provide mentorship; digital platforms ensure accessibility. Wraparound supports include crisis intervention, community events, and ongoing alumni engagement. The 10P’s 7 Stories Analysis Model measures growth across self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, relationship management, sexual wellness, community, and leadership. The program aims to reduce risk behaviors, increase protective factors, and empower youth leadership and provide a springboard for youth to transform their trauma into triumph and enter the work force as whole, healthy, contributing members of society.
