What is your understanding of the issue that you are seeking to address?

I am seeking to address the needs of quality child care providers to work with children in our community to give the best start by providing a safe, healthy, loving, and caring environment. where the children are given an opportunity for developmental activities according to their ages, special needs, talents, and interests. We want to create an outdoor classroom that will allow the children to safely interact with nature as often as possible as they learn and grow.

Describe the project, program, or initiative this grant will support to address the issue.

This grant will allow us to contract with a quality outdoor classroom designer to create the ultimate space for our children to learn and grow and support the hiring, training, and maintenance of quality providers to meet the needs of the children in our community.

Describe how Los Angeles County will be different if your work is successful.

Los Angeles county will be different because we will be able to provide early education and interventions to our children, teaching them how-to self-regulate and be ready to learn. When a child can learn they will become productive members of our community which will make our community a better place to live, play, and learn.
