Across Los Angeles, Día de los Muertos celebrations honor loved ones who have passed and celebrate the beauty of life through art, music, food, and remembrance. From community altars to large-scale festivals, ofrendas across the county reflect the stories, cultures, and memories that make Los Angeles shine.

Beloved Pets Ofrenda | Los Angeles Zoo
Open weekends now - November 2nd, 2025, 10 am - 4 pm

Now in its fifth year, the Beloved Pets Ofrenda at the Los Angeles Zoo, created with Plaza de la Raza Cultural Center for the Arts & Education, invites guests to honor their late animal companions with photos, drawings, and handmade frames. This community altar celebrates the enduring bond between people and pets through the spirit of Día de los Muertos.

Join friends and neighbors at Villa Parke Community Center for Pasadena’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration. Enjoy dance performances, arts and crafts, food, and beautifully crafted ofrendas honoring loved ones who have passed. This free, family event celebrates community, culture, and remembrance.

Now in its 51st year, Self Help Graphics & Art’s Día de los Muertos celebration features a procession from Mariachi Plaza to East L.A. Civic Center, live entertainment, danza blessings, and a Muertos Market.

Join Glendale Community College for its 6th Annual Día de los Muertos celebration featuring art, music, and cultural programming across campus. Enjoy painting activities, a discussion led by Dr. Wendy Fonarow, and a live Mexhica Tribu-Quetzally Aztec dance performance in Vaquero Plaza. Free and open to the public, this annual event honors the spirits of loved ones through community, learning, and tradition.

Fun Fridays Market: Día de los Muertos | Lakewood CenterFriday, November 7, 2025, 5 pm - 9 pm

Celebrate Día de los Muertos, presented by Angel City Market and the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy 70+ vendors, food, carnival games, a live DJ, and family activities including free face painting and photos with Miguel from Coco. Fiesta del Día de los Muertos | Floricanto Center for the Performing ArtsSaturday, November 8, 8 pm & Sunday, November 9, 6 pm

The Floricanto Center for the Performing Arts marks its 25th annual Día de los Muertos celebration with a dynamic stage production exploring community, loss, and love through Chicano dance and storytelling, guided by La Catrina.
