This past Monday, we hosted our first-ever LA #TechWeek panel on Technology and Storytelling for Social Good in collaboration with the Goldhirsh Foundation and Creative Visions Foundation.

The panel was moderated by Tara Roth, president of the Goldhirsh Foundation and LA2050, and featured members of our LA2050 community as expert panelists including: Alexis Cabrera of 9 Dots, Laura Gonzalez of Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), Sabra Williams of Creative Acts, and Paul Lanctot of The Debt Collective.

Decerry Donato reported for dot.LA and shared how our panelists use technology in their respective fields to solve some of society's most pressing challenges and advocate for the importance of tech literacy in underserved communities in Los Angeles.

LA #TechWeek brings together approximately 16,000+ founders, investors, and builders for 200+ events over the course of a week including fireside chats, workshops, pitch sessions, and panel discussions.
