LA2050 is an award winning initiative! 

Over 11 years of the LA2050 Grants Challenge, we have collected 3,985 ideas for a better Los Angeles, and they are all available on our Ideas Hub on our website. On the Ideas Hub, you can filter for organizations, ideas, or to see all of the winners throughout the years.

When browsing by organization, you can see all of the ideas the group has applied with over the years. Some organizations have only applied once, but many have applied multiple times with new and innovative ways to better Los Angeles County. You can even search by category to see organizations working on similar themes, such as housing & homelessness and environmental quality & sustainability.

Additionally, you can find helpful resources such as the organization's website, a link to its charity navigator page, and a way to donate directly to its cause.

This is a great way to learn about many of the incredible ways that our LA2050 community is working to make our world a better place.

Today, September 4th, the City of Los Angeles celebrates its 243rd birthday! 🎉

Every year at LA2050, we mark the occasion by publishing an original e-book – an extra-special birthday card for the place we love!

For our 2024 edition, we invited elected officials representing Los Angeles at the national, state, and local levels to share what they love about the city and their wishes for its future.

And, expanding on the theme of volunteerism from this year’s LA2050 Grants Challenge, we also asked those elected officials to nominate community leaders and volunteers from their respective districts to contribute their own birthday notes.
