Celebrating our First-Ever LA2050 Grants Challenge Showcase!Posted

To congratulate the 37 grantees and celebrate the work that they do, we were joined by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and LA County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell, who each delivered powerful remarks. The Goldhirsh Foundation’s 15 new grantees were announced by our friend, Coolhaus ice cream co-founder Natasha Case.
The leaders of past LA2050 grantees On the Go LA, Crop Swap LA, Las Fotos Project, and CicLAvia also bestowed words of wisdom to the new grantee cohort during the "How Our Organizations Help LA" panel, moderated by Zarina Khairzada of Spectrum News 1.
Altogether, a total of $2.6 million was given to 37 new grantees, thanks to the generous contributions of our partners: the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Annenberg Foundation, Snap Foundation, John N. Calley Foundation, and Second Home. 💛
