🤎LA Family Housing Sweet Treats | Now - Until December 21st

For many adults transitioning out of homelessness, this season can be a lonely time. You can help brighten their days with treats and deserts and remind them they are not alone in this world-there are people out there thinking of them!

🤎The Marine Toys for Tots: Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley | October 1 - December 1st

The Marine Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December and distributes them to less fortunate children as Christmas gifts each year. These toys make a tremendous difference in the lives of the children and families that receive them gratefully.

🤎AIDS Project L.A. (ALPA) Food Pantry - South LA | December 1st

Pack dry goods, produce, frozen meat, and hygiene products in grocery bags for APLA Health clients. By donating a few hours of your time, you are vital in helping APLA distribute groceries to Angelenos.

🤎The Giving Spirit Winter Outreach | December 2 - 7th

Join The Giving Spirit at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church to assemble much needed survival essentials to directly serve hundreds of individuals and families braving to survive a winter on the street.

🤎Emerson Avenue Community Garden Community Volunteer Day | December 3rd

Help maintain and beautify the community garden. Activities include mulching, weeding, clearing pathways, organizing, watering + lots of other fun things! This is family-friendly event.

🤎Surfrider Foundation Beach Cleanup - Long Beach | December 3rd

Beach cleanups are a fun and easy way to volunteer your time by helping to keep our beaches and ocean clean! Surfrider Foundation is looking for volunteers to help out at the booth as well as participate in the cleanups.

🤎American Family Housing Holiday Wrapping! - Midway City | December 3rd

American Family Housing is thrilled with all the support and donations it has received this season. Volunteer will assist with sorting through all donations and prepping for new year events where these donations will be utilized.

🤎CORE Urban Gardening at Midtown Farms | December 3rd

Support Mudtown Farms by cultivating greenspace and an urban garden to continue to provide fresh and healthy produce for the community. Activities include garden maintenance, weeding, spreading compost and mulch, and planting native plants and flowers.

Calling all CicLAvia fans: donate a few hours to help with wayfinding, manage car crossing points, or provide participants with activity information. Individual and group volunteer opportunities are available.

We hope you can help LACoFD, ABC7, Toys for Tots, and SoCal Firefighters, collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens.

🤎Paws of L.A. Rescue - Rescue Pup Holiday Fundraiser! | December 10th

Paws of L.A. Rescue is looking for dog lover volunteers to donate their Photography skills for its Holiday photoshoot. It will supply the decorations, dog accessories, and dog treats!

🤎Act’s of Compassion, Inc. Annual Kids Christmas Party | December 10th

Act's of Compassion, Inc. passionately advocates for the hungry and displaced. It is looking for a volunteers to sort and bag toys for its annual Christmas party for at-risk youth.

🤎LA Family Housing Winter Wonderland Party | December 10th

Bring the holidays to families transitioning out of homelessness! You'll start off at the Main Campus, where you'll pick out and wrap toys from the inventory for LA Family Housing families. You'll then pack up those gifts in your car and deliver them to the family housing site, where you'll also lead holiday crafts and games for the kids.

🤎Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Winter Wonderland | December 10th

Spread love and joy to the South LA community this season with Its Bigger Than Us LA, Council District 8, and Baldwin Hills Crenshaw. The event will provide 20,000 toys to the Crenshaw District along with many free resources including a job fair, health resources, and activities for the whole family.

Living Waters - West LA and A Child’s Dream are looking for compassionate volunteers who are willing to give a minimum of 4.5 hours. Volunteers will have opportunities to serve as greeters and escorts, as well as distributing socks, toys, blankets, snacks, and more!

🤎Golden State Pops Orchestra Holiday Pops Spectacular | December 17th

The Holiday Pops Spectacular, brings back the holiday spirit in San Pedro, CA. Special guests, full symphony and choir, plus snow! Be a part of making a wonderful experience for its patrons, plus free tickets are given to volunteers!

🤎Act’s of Compassion, Inc. Annual Kids Christmas Party | December 17th

Act's of Compassion, Inc. passionately advocates for the hungry and displaced. It is looking for a volunteer photographer to capture special moments, of the children at our annual Christmas party.

🤎California Native Plant Society - South Coast Native Garden Volunteer Day | December 18th

Volunteers will learn about California native gardening while gazing out at the Pacific Ocean at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. The garden provides important habitat for endangered species and inspires people to plant local.

🤎Working Dreams Holiday Toy Event 2022 | December 19th

The annual Holiday Toy Event is hosted every year for the Foster Care children of Los Angeles County. Volunteers will help children, on a one-to-one basis, choose their gifts.

Help Foothill Unity Center make Thanksgiving brighter! Volunteer to prepare and pack Thanksgiving food boxes for those in need.

🤎Good+ Foundation Community Volunteer Day | November 12th

Attend Good+ Community Volunteer Day for in-person and outdoor volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. Volunteers will help prepare new parent gift sets, sort and bundle clothing, and prepare health grooming kits for LA families.

🌟United Way of Greater Los Angeles WalkUnitedLA | November 12th

WalkUnitedLA raises funds to break the cycle of generational poverty. Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success! Help with registration, incentives, medals, wayfinding, water stations, or the children’s area.

Metropolis serves 150 hot meals to-go every Sunday for seniors and neighbors experiencing homelessness in Santa Monica. Volunteer to help cook and package food onsite.
