Reporting to the Grants + Data Manager, the Project Coordinator leads our team in completing a wide variety of initiatives for the organization. The position identifies project needs, establishes timelines, delegates assignments, manages budgets, and executes tasks for volunteer campaigns, events, and internal projects. Like all coordinator positions at PLUS ME, the Project Coordinator will dedicate approximately 20% of their time to facilitating storytelling workshops with youth, parents/educators, and the public.

Roles & responsibilities

Project Coordination

· Oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of four key events each year (IMPACT, LISTEN, Motivational March, and Wisdom Week)

· Coordinate and schedule experiences with other members of the team that take place within the PLUS ME Storytelling Center

· Communicate with stakeholders via email, phone, and/or in-person meetings

· Maintain strong organization of project management software for team

· General management of special projects that arise throughout year

Facilitation

· Deliver PLUS ME curriculum at sites throughout Los Angeles County

· Serve as a guest speaker in classrooms by sharing a personal story

· Attend team trainings and development opportunities

· Prepare and commute to sites for program delivery

The Project Coordinator will work 40 hours per week in a hybrid role from the PLUS ME office in Highland Park, partnering school sites throughout Los Angeles County, or remotely. $58,000 - $66,000; depending on experience

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

· Excellent communication skills with strong relationship-building tools, integrity, creativity, and emotional intelligence

· Exceptional project management skills and familiarity with Monday.com
