Youth unemployment and underemployment learn
In 2016, the youth unemployment rate for 16 to 19 year-olds was 18.6 percent and the rate for 20 to 24 year-olds was 7.4 percent in Los Angeles County. The average youth unemployment rate for 16 to 24 year-olds in 2016 was 13 percent.
