Syllabi Planning and Development
• Plan age- and experience-appropriate syllabi for assigned classes, aligned with
Venice Arts’ emphasis on personal and documentary storytelling, with learning
lessons that reflect its experiential, project-based pedagogy. Identify Arts
Proficiency Standards tied to each Learning Objective.

Teaching
• Teach either one or two sessions daily at Summer Media Arts Camp during the
month of July. With the opportunity to teach up to three available film classes at
the beginning to advanced levels during the academic year.
• Assure that all film students participate in program evaluation.

Support Mentors, Assistants, and/or Interns Assigned to Classes
• Orient and support volunteer photographers working as mentors in the
classroom; Teaching Assistants; and/or Interns.
