Inner City Law Center (ICLC) is a nonprofit law firm on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles. We are looking for extraordinary people to help us end homelessness in Los Angeles. Founded on the fundamental principle that every person should always be treated with dignity and respect, ICLC fights for justice for low-income tenants, working-poor families, people experiencing homelessness, people living with HIV/AIDS, people with disabilities, and homeless veterans.

Position Description: ICLC seeks a Case Management Coordinator to administer the organization's casework database functions, working to promote operational efficiency, maintain data standards, and reduce administrative burden across the organization. The Case Management Coordinator will maintain the central functions of ICLC's LegalServer Case Management System (CMS), and will be responsible for developing and maintaining legal case workflows, building reports, and training users in LegalServer case management processes. This position will report to the Program Director, and will support the refinement of CMS Policies and Procedures in service of ICLC's legal and data standards in areas such as casework documentation, timekeeping, case closing and outcomes reporting. The Case Management Coordinator will serve a cross-disciplinary role, bridging technical database skills with collaborative teamwork and staff-driven process development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as ICLC's LegalServer Administrator, point person for all organizational CMS-related needs
  • Develop and maintain organization-wide CMS procedures, communicate procedures to staff via documentation, training, and individual & team consultations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve staff inquiries regarding CMS functionality, act as ICLC intermediary with LegalServer support and administrator networks
  • Maintain database operations through field management, data clean-up, user onboarding/offboarding, and report building
  • Liaise with partner organizations regarding database management procedures for grants reporting and inter-agency referrals
  • Lead case management improvement projects such as document/CMS integration and template creation, from requirement gathering to development, implementation, and feedback assessment


Hiring Criteria: Commitment to ICLC’s mission and values. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working with Case Management Systems, preferably LegalServer or other legal CMS. Familiarity with database management, including field management and data standards. Strong organizational skills, demonstrated success working on detail-oriented projects. Proactive and innovative approach to solution-making. Experience building consensus on projects with several stakeholders. 

Compensation: Salary ranges from $58,240.00 - $74,819, depending on experience. Excellent benefits.
