The Foundation for California Community Colleges is on a mission to double its impact in the next 10 years. We are seeking a Senior Coordinator to join the Foundation in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation.

What You’ll Do
The FoundationCCC’s Workforce Development Department (WDD) seeks to add a detail-oriented, service-minded, and responsive Senior Coordinator position to our team. Our mission is to help learners achieve better education, economic, and social outcomes by providing partners in education, workforce and economic development, and industry with outstanding technical assistance, research, administrative services, and financial resource development support. WDD comprises four unique Services Areas that work both independently and collaboratively toward a shared vision, mission, approach, and set of team agreements. This position will provide coordination support for department-level activities and one of WDD’s four Service Areas, called Fresh Success. 

What you bring

  • Assist with coordination of the annual review of WDD’s Strategic Plan; and help track progress towards annual goals on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinate compilation of quantitative and qualitative data for internal and external reporting purposes using tools including Google Sheets, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • Schedule and support preparation activities (e.g. organizing materials) and logistics (e.g. catering orders, venue selection) for internal and external meetings, including: monthly department meetings, full- and multi-day retreats, cross-team work group meetings; Fresh Success partner trainings, meetings, and site visits; and other convenings as necessary.
  • Help prepare and send pre- and post-event communications, including online surveys, and track and support follow-up on any resulting action items.
  • Provide technology management and troubleshooting support during virtual meetings (e.g. Zoom chat monitoring, breakout room set-up, polling, etc.).
  • Monitor activity and assist staff with information and file management across multiple web platforms including Google Drive, SharePoint, Asana, and Salesforce.
  • Monitor and maintain Fresh Success’s central contacts database in Microsoft Access, email contact groups in Microsoft Outlook, and Fresh Success inbox.
  • Track submission of required reports and documents from Fresh Success partners.

  • Ability to work on a fast-paced team and build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, the California Community College system and the Foundation’s mission.
