San Fernando Community Health Center (SFCHC) is a state-of-the-art Federally Qualified Health Center serving the entire San Fernando Valley with a full complement of high-quality medical, dental, behavioral health and education services. SFCHC was designated a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in August 2015, but its commitment to the community and its people spans more than 90 years, beginning in 1923 as the San Fernando Valley’s first community hospital. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Accountant oversees general accounting operations for a growing Federally Qualified healthcare organization. This position is accountable for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and will actively support SFCHC’s mission and values; aligning their actions around the organization’s goals.
