Job Title: Division Coordinator 
Department: Facilities Management 
Reports To: General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

CRCD Enterprises is a General Contractor based in South Los Angeles, California.  Its core business lines includes: Sonny’s Construction, and Facilities Management.  We strive to provide professional service for our clients, and quality work environment for our team.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

A Division Coordinator, maintains and oversees a company’s grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional. Their duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates all to include a leadership component.

Key Responsibilities:

General and Task Management

  • Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
  • Ensure the team are aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities
  • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and indoor/outdoor recreation spaces
  • Monitoring ongoing progress of services to clients, partners, and associates
  • Monitoring and ensuring that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
  • Performing routine maintenance on facilities by scheduling or making repairs as needed
  • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
  • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
  • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
  • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
  • Collaborating with upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
  • All other duties specified by Management

  • Exposed to all weather conditions and traffic hazards.
  • Subject to fumes, foul odors, dust, toxic waste, and disease-causing materials when transporting solid waste.
  • Requires bending, pulling and pushing when onloading and offloading bulky item materials

Education/Experience: 

  • High School Diploma/GED

 

Language - Demonstrated ability to:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Math - Demonstrated ability to:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning - Demonstrated ability to:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills: Microsoft office, Internet

Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver’s License; good driving record.
