Job Title: Pod (Cohort) Leader

Hourly Range: $14.00 - $21.00
Schedule: 15-30 hours/week, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (varies per location)
In response to school re-opening, and in partnership with school districts who are operating under direction of LA County Public Health guidelines, Woodcraft Rangers will provide student supervision recreation and enrichment programs for students returning to in-person schooling, as determined by district leadership in small “cohorts” of children on school campuses or in neighborhood locations. The Pod Leaders are responsible for ensuring a positive learning environment for students in-person while adhering to CDC, and local health department guidelines. Pod leaders will support cohorts in ratios of no more than 14:1(subject to change based on LACPDH and CDC Guidelines). Other members of the team include a Site Coordinator, who oversees the program, a Floater who will support supervision of students during staff breaks or emergencies, and may include a Safety Coordinator or school appointed lead who is responsible for ensuring that health and safety protocols are adhered to.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who is detail oriented, energetic, ambitious, proactive, and positive, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Multi-tasking and attention to detail must be strengths this individual possesses.
